A New Store for Shepard's Pie: Meijer!!

So at some point this week I will be venturing to a new store that I don't usually shop at , actually I've never shopped there.  No reason really... just out of my comfort zone, and I had no clue what their coupon policy was.  Although I post deals for a few different stores I don't always make it out to all of them, and I have found when I shop at multiple stores I overspend :)   So Meijer will be the one this week.
See instructions below for THIS Meijer Widget------->
Like I said I had NO clue on what their coupon policy was.  So I called the customer service at my local Meijer to ask.  This is what I gathered:
  1. Meijer does NOT have an official corporate coupon policy.
  2. Coupons for $.50 or less will be doubled. Any coupons between $.50 and $1 will be redeemed at $1. Coupons over $1 are redeemed at face value. Meijer limits two identical coupons to doubling.
  3. There are no limits on the amount of product or coupons you use. However, remember that you are only allowed to double two identical coupons.
  4. Meijer accepts internet printable coupons
  5. Meijer does not allow coupon overage
  6. Meijer does accept competitor coupons and other Catalina coupons

I am in the process of going through the weekly ad starting 4/10.  I will post my coupon match-ups and shopping list by the first of the week!  Looks like some great deals :)  Feel free to add any Meijer tips, this will be my first trip!
